I did my very best.
Summary: When supervillains Miss Long Hair and Miss Tower arrive and make people’s hair grow more so they can’t see anymore in Scissor City, Gil and Nonny have to cut their hair at somewhere different, where it’s actually not a hair salon like always… they have to get their haircut at the barbershop. But, Nonny first has to overcome his fear of barbershops to help his friends.
The intro starts with the usual.
Little Fish: Bubble Guppies!
Molly then swims in with Bubble Puppy,looking at the viewers.
Molly: Hi! It’s me, Molly! And it’s time for…
Gil: Messy hair!
Molly and Bubble Puppy confused swim over to see Gil with super messy hair. Which was actually a wig Gil had in a box with wigs.
Molly giggles at Gil.
Molly: It’s time for…
Gil: Spiky hair!
Gil puts on a spiky wig. Molly giggles at the wig.
Molly: It’s time for…
Gil: Really long hair!
Gil puts on a wig that has really,really long hair,reaching the end and the front hair was covering his eyes. Molly looked worried with that wig Gil had on.
Molly: (worried)Uh, Gilly. That’s way too long.
Gil:
Don’t worry. I got it all under control… whoa, whoa.
Gil couldn’t handle the pressure, and then Kayden and Erica entered hearing the commotion.
Erica: (awkward) Umm, did we miss out on something?
Gil then stumbled back and the wig fell off. They all had a laugh on that.
And they all said:
Molly, Gil, Kayden and Erica: It’s time for Bubble Guppies!
Bubble Puppy barks.
The theme song plays.
After the theme song ends, the episode title shows.
Little Fish: Episode Title( You guys can choose the title name, but it has to do with barbershops and hair salons)
The Little Fish laugh and then tell the viewers to follow them.
Little Fish 1: Come on!
Little Fish 2: Follow us!
The viewers follow them to the Bubble Guppies school and the school doors open, showing Deema putting her backpack in her cubby. She looks at the viewers and waves at them. The comes in Goby, then Zooli, then Molly and Oona. They take their seats, the Mr. Grouper came in.
Molly, Goby, Deema, Oona and Zooli: Good morning Mr. Grouper!
Mr. Grouper: Well good morning everyone!
Molly notices Gil and Nonny aren’t here.
Molly: Mr. Grouper, where are Gil and Nonny? I haven’t seen them this morning.
Just then, Gil entered, trying to help Nonny with a brush tangled in his hair. Gil’s hair was basically shoulder length, the hairstyle he had before getting his haircut for Picture Day. And Nonny, not his hair was a literal bird’s nest, because it was a big puffy hairstyle almost covering his eyes.
Everyone looked at them surprised at their hair.
Mr. Grouper: Heh. Wow boys. Looks like you got on some mishaps.
Nonny: (embarrassed and sigh) It’s my fault. I couldn’t brush my hair well and the brush got stuck.
Gil: I tried to get it off, but it won’t come off.
Deema went over and see if she could help.
Deema: My mom has taught me this before. She’s a hairdresser. I often help her with our clients.
Deema carefully tried taking out the brush out of Nonny’s hair. Then she was able to take the brush out.
Deema: There! It’s out! (notices Nonny’s hair getting in his eyes) (brushes his hair away from his face with her hands) Maybe you both need haircuts.
Gil: I was thinking the exact same thing. But… there’s a teeny problem.
Mr. Grouper then realized it.
Mr. Grouper: Oh right! Miss Jenny’s sick, and the salon is closed today.
Molly: Wait, Miss Jenny mentioned me once that she has two friends. I think they’re barbers.
Oona: (curious) What are barbers?
But Nonny didn’t answer that. That’s when it hit Deema. But Deema then explained.
Deema: Barbers are people who specialize in haircuts, particularly in men’s hair.
Mr. Grouper: That’s right Deema. Barbers specialize in men’s hair, while hairstylists specialize in both men and women hair.
Goby: (confused)But Nonny, why do you look worried about the barbers?
Nonny: (quietly) I-I’m scared of barbers.
Zooli: What did you say? I couldn’t hear you well.
Nonny: (trying to say it louder) I’m scared of barbers…
Molly: What?
Nonny: I’m scared of barbers! (slaps hands over his mouth realizing he said it out loud)
Nonny felt embarrassed, and the others were surprised to know that Nonny was scared of barbershops and barbers.
Mr. Grouper: Guys, sometimes, it takes some time for someone with autism when it comes to getting a haircut at a new place, and sometimes that can be scary and stressful.
Deema: Yeah. It’s really true. But sometimes, it can be fun.
Zooli: That makes me wonder, what else do barbers and hairdressers have in common other than cutting hair? I usually get my haircut at a salon.
Mr. Grouper:(giggles) I think almost all of us
get haircuts at a salon Zooli!
Goby: Well, I once went to the barbershop,and the barber explained the whole process. And I felt nervous at first,but then I felt comfortable.
Mr. Grouper: That sounds nice Goby! (turning to the viewers)What about you? Where do you get your haircut?
Mr. Grouper: Oh that sounds great! Let’s think some more about hairstylists and barbers!

Then the song plays.( You guys can choose the name of the song and the lyrics, cause I’d suck at it)
After the song, Mr. Grouper then comes in.
Mr. Grouper: Okay all you Guppies with hair. Line up! It’s time to go outside!
Then they line up and go outside. Then we see the guppies in the play-set.
Molly: I’m a superhero!
Oona: I’m a superhero too!
Deema and Goby: We’re also superheroes!
All 4 of them: With super hair powers!
Zooli then swims in and starts narrating the story.
Zooli: Once upon a time…
The bubble pops and the background is Scissor City.
Zooli: There was a group of superheroes who had super hair powers. They were…
Molly, Goby, Deema and Oona: Superhairoes!
Zooli: And their job was to protect everyone’s hair and hairstyles in Scissors City.
Then it showed the superhairoes using their super hair powers. Super Molly, with her hair lasso. Super Goby, with his shield to protect them from an attack. Super Deema, with super curls to create anything. And Super Oona, with her pigtails, she can use them to bounce high.
Zooli: One day, two guppies were in the park. And one of the boys(Nonny), was trying to brush his hair, but it wouldn’t break budge. And they had to go to the barbershop for haircuts.
Nonny: (tries brushing his hair) Ugh. This is impossible! And I literally don’t want to go to the barbershop. (worried)I’m scared.
Gil: Don’t worry Nonny, I’m sure they’re going to be nice and easygoing! In a way, I’m excited and nervous!
Nonny: (sigh) Alright. But it’s only because you’re coming as well.
They got up and swam their way to the barbershop.
When suddenly,they saw someone coming up ahead, and their hair was covering their eyes. Gil the screams!
Gil: (screams) Hair Monster! (jumps on Nonny’s arm) Save yourselves!
Nonny: (startled and realizes something) Gil, that’s not a hair monster, it’s someone with really long hair.
Nonny went up and asked: Excuse me, but what happened to your hair?
Just as the lobster was about to say anything, someone was coming.
Lobster: Gah! No time to explain, but you to better run!
And the lobster ran.Leaving them both confused.
Gil:Uhh, what was that all about?!
Nonny: I don’t even know.
They decided to ask the superhairoes and explain to them the case. When they went to the hairoes, they saw that more people were having trouble seeing as there has was blocking them. They saw Super Oona, who was helping some lobsters with bad hair goin on.
Gil: Super Oona! We could really use your help and the others as well.
Super Oona stopped short.
Super Oona: Oh hello! What seems to be the problem?
Nonny: Well, we were on our way to the barbershop, when we encountered a lobster who had his hair blocking his eyes.
Gil: And then he told us to run away, but we didn’t know why. We were hoping you could tell us.
Super Deema: Oh I certainly know why this is happening. It’s by them.
Super Goby: What do you mean by “them”?
Super Deema: The Maniac Style Sisters. They go by Miss Long Hair, and Miss Tower. They say that Miss Long Hair makes people’s hair grow quicker and obstruct their vision, also to make them trip and fall. And Miss Tower, whenever she walks, she can cause earthquakes due to her enormous bun!
The Guppies then heard a voice laughing. It was Miss Long Hair, and she was causing mayhem and making people’s hair grow! The citizens were screaming and running as Miss Long Hair made their hair grown longer, obstructing their eyes!
Miss Long Hair: (evil laugh) That’s it! You will never see again the light of the sun. All you will see now is your hair!(evil laugh)
Then she notices the superhairoes, and she uses one of her rays and tries to hit them,but Super Goby blocked it with his hair shield.
Super Goby: Give it up Miss Long Hair!
Super Molly: (uses her hair lasso on Miss Long Hair) Your hair growing days are over!
Miss Long Hair:(dramatic) Oh boo hoo hoo! I’m so scared! (uses her grow light) Not!(evil laugh)
The ray hit Super Molly and Super Goby, making their hair get in their way and using their powers at the others!
Super Molly: (frantic) We’ve been hit! (hits a tree) Ow!
Her lasso then grabs Super Deema and Super Oona.
Super Oona: Yikes! Super Molly, you got the wrong people!
Super Molly: (apologetic) I’m sorry! But it’s my hair!
Super Deema: (mad) Oh you’ve done it now Miss Long Hair!
Super Deema tries attack, but she also gets hit. Leaving Super Oona, Gil and Nonny only one choice!
Super Oona:(shouts) Run!
They ran as fast as they could, and they stopped at an alleyway.
Gil: (panting) What are we gonna do?! We’re gonna be the next victims!
Super Oona thought hard,and then she saw that they were standing behind the alleyway of Zooli’s Wig Store!
Super Oona: That’s it! I’ve got an idea! We can use wigs!
Nonny: Interesting. It could possibly work.
They all entered the store and there was a lot of wigs. Zooli then popped herself out of the counter!
Zooli: Hi! Welcome to Zooli’s Wig of Extravagance! Where all wigs come all lengths, colors and hair textures! Now what can I help you with today?
Super Oona: We need really long wigs that can make us look like we can’t see to trick Miss Long Hair from attacking us!
Gil: And they also have to be the colors of our hair!
Zooli: Well you’ve certainly come to the right place! I think I may have some, (turning to the viewers)but I’m gonna need your help to find the right ones!
Segment of wigs change:
Zooli: We need to find the right wigs with really long hair covering the eyes and they have to match the hair colors of our friends. Now, which of these wigs have the longest hair in the front to cover the eyes?
Some music plays as the viewers try to answer. Then a light pointed at 3 long wigs.
Little Fish 1: Those wigs!
Little Fish 2: Right there! They have long bangs!
Zooli: Right! These wigs have long front hair!
Now, we have to choose the right hair colors for our friends. Which of these colors match the hair colors?
Zooli waits for the answer and then the light pointed a the hair colors.
Little Fish 1: Those 3!
Little Fish 2: Right there!
Zooli: Right! These match perfectly! Thanks for your help!
A while after, Zooli was finished with the wigs!
Zooli: There! These should definitely help you guys stop the Maniac Style Sisters!
Oona took the wigs: Thanks Zooli!
They left and got in the alleyway, and put on the wigs! They did look weird.
Nonny: I’m not gonna lie, this wig is really heavy. I can’t see.
Gil: That’s the point Nonny, but I’m sure this’ll totally trick Miss Long Hair!
Suddenly, Miss Long Hair came in the scene and asked: Excuse me, what time is it?
Super Oona: It’s time for lunch!
The lunch song plays and the guppies sit down. Nonny is the first to open his lunch box.
Nonny: I got macaroni and cheese. What did you get Gil?
Gil: (opens up his lunch box) I got macaroni and cheese too! What did you get Oona?
Super Oona: (opens up her lunch box) I got… (takes out the lunch joke) macaroni and hair?
The laughing in the background can be heard.
Little Fish 1: Macaroni and Hair? That’s silly!
Little Fish 2: And gross! Yuck!
Just then, Miss Long Hair starts to zap them! But they quickly dodge the zaps! But the wigs fell off before they could even act.
Miss Long then started chasing them, Gil and Nonny were able to escape, but Super Oona was cornered!
Miss Long Hair: (evil laughter) I got you now superhairo! Say goodbye to the light of day!
(zaps Super Oona and makes her hair grow longer)
Gil: Super Oona!
Miss Long Hair turned to Gil and Nonny!
Nonny: (gulp) Uh oh…
Zooli: With no superhairoes left, Gil and Nonny had to get to safety from their hair to be next! They did the only thing that they could…
Gil: (shouts)Run!
They started running as fast as they could. But soon, the ground started to shake. It was Miss Tower, Miss Long Hair’s sister.
Miss Tower: Aha! Looks like my sister got some new clients. Time for my bun to make the ground shake and rattle!
The boys started running even faster than usual, but Miss Tower ran after them!
Miss Tower:Come back here!
They kept running even faster. Nonny looked behind to see the Maniac Style Sisters together!
Nonny: (scared)What are we gonna do Gil?! They’re right behind us!
Gil: I don’t know, just keep running!
???: (worried and hurried)Quick! In here!
They heard a woman’s voice. It came from a barbershop they were told to go! The female barber pulled out her hand to Gil: Grab my hand! We’ll keep you safe!
Gil was hesitant, but he grabbed Nonny’s hand, and then grabbed her hand! Then she and a guy with her to pull them inside!
The boys were pulled inside, and then along with the mysterious barbers tumbled,rolled and fell on the floor! Some of them even hit their heads.
???: (rubs her head) Ow! That didn’t go smoothly as I hoped! Are you two okay?
Gil: Yeah I’m okay. What about you Nonny?
Nonny: (rubbing his head, feeling dizzy)I-I guess so. But, who are you two?
???: Well, we’re Miss Jenny’s friends of course! We’re barbers!
Gil and Nonny: Barbers?!
Kayden: Yep! My name’s Kayden! And this is my girlfriend Erica! We actually heard really nice things about you two from Miss Jenny!
Erica: That’s right! And my goodness, we sure have a challenge with these manes! (giggles) (ruffles Nonny’s hair) Your hair is super soft.
Kayden: (plays with Gil’s hair and chuckles) And your hair has a mind of its own and has nice shade of blue! But let me guess, you two need haircuts don’t you?
Gil: (awkward) Yeah, we do. But how did you know?
Erica: Your hair actually explains it. (wink)
Gil and Nonny have each other confused glances. But Nonny felt anxious and put his arms in a shy position. Erica and Kayden looked at him. Erica then asked: Hey, are you okay? You look a little bit nervous.
Gil:(whispers into their ears) It’s just that he’s scared of barbers and barbershops. He has autism.
Kayden and Erica looked at each other, with understanding glances. And they turned back to Nonny. Erica got down to his level.
Erica:(holds Nonny’s hand) It’s okay seeetie, there’s no need to be nervous. We can definitely cut your hair. But, we have a bit of a problem….
Gil: (confused)What kind of problem?
Kayden: Miss Tower caused a huge shake and rattle,that all our tools got mixed up and now we don’t know which are our styling tools!
Gil: I think we can figure this out! (turning to the viewers)But we’re going to need your help.
The scene changes to different tools to be organized to figure out which ones are used to cut and style hair. Gil then swims in.
Gil: We need to organize all these tools so the barbers can cut our hair!
The first was on what they need to keep them clean. The options were:
A T-shirt
A Cape
A Towel
Gil: Now, the first thing is that we need something to keep us clean. Which of these can keep our clothes clean and dry for the haircut?
The music plays, while Gil waits for the answer. Then the light points at the cape!
Little Fish 1: That one! The cape!
Little Fish 2: That’ll keep you clean and dry!
Gil: Right! The cape!
Now for the tools were next!
Gil: Now, what can the barbers use to wet, comb and cut our hair?
The options were for wetting:

A Spray Bottle
Gil: Which of these can we use to wet our hair?
The music plays and then the light points at the spray bottle.
Little Fish 1: (points at the spray bottle) The spray bottle!
Little Fish 2: That is used to wet your hair.
Gil: Yeah! They have water inside to make our hair easy to cut. Now, what can be used for combing and styling?

A Toothbrush
Nail File
Gil waited for the answer and then the light pointed at the comb.
Little Fish 1: The comb!
Little Fish 2: That can be used to comb your hair.
Gil: Right! Now, what can the barbers use to cut our hair?

Scissors and Clippers
A Hairdryer
A Sword
Gil looked at the viewers as he waited for the answer, and the light pointed at the scissors and clippers!
Little Fish 1:Those 2!
Little Fish 2: The scissors and the clippers!
Gil: Yes! Now we have all the tools! Thanks for your help!
The scene fades and the boys are settled into the barber chairs with their hands on the armrests and capes draped on their shoulders!Erica calmed Nonny down to make him feel at ease for the haircut.
Erica: (gentle) Don’t worry Nonny, everything’s gonna be okay.
They both got to work, but before that, they looked at each other with determination.
Erica: You ready?
Kayden: You know I am!
They got to work, as some music played! And after a while, a bit of cleaning, they were finished!
Kayden: There! You both look handsome!
Erica:(cute giggle) You sure do!
They picked up hand mirrors for the boys, and Erica did a quick combing one more time on Nonny’s bangs.
Erica: Alright, now you boys can look.
Gil and Nonny turned their mirrors for them to see the results,and their hair was like their usual hairstyles,but a bit more messy and fluffy.
Gil: Wow!I love it! Thanks! Nonny, your hair looks amazing!
Nonny liked how his hair looked. He passed his fingers through his hair to feel how soft it was. He even put a small smile.
Nonny: (shyly) I-I guess it’s not that bad. I actually like it.
Erica lets him on the head.
Erica: Glad to hear that!
Then, they heard shaking, it was the sisters. They hid and held each others hands.
Miss Long Hair: It seems that we lost them. Eh, at least the superhairoes are not a bother anymore to us.
Miss Tower: Girl, we also can’t let them take our ray to change hair how it was. What if we’re busted?!
Miss Long Hair: (coves her sister’s mouth,angry)Did you have to say it out loud?! Now the whole world’s going to know that we’re frauds and scared of haircuts! And that we never had them before.
They guppies and barbers were stunned. The Maniac Style Sisters never had haircuts cause they were scared of them.
Nonny: (realizing,shyly with a hand in his hair) They felt like me. When I was a kid.
Erica: (curious) What do you mean Nonny?
Nonny: (looking down) When I was little, I never liked getting my haircut. And that’s because the thought of someone touching the back of my head or my neck make me feel really uncomfortable, and. It makes me flinch. And so do unfamiliar sounds and people, especially strangers.
Kayden: I see. Maybe the ladies felt the same way.
Gil: So they may have felt like you did.
Nonny then stood up. He then swam toward the door.
Gil:(swimming to Nonny, grabbing his arm) What are you doing?!
Nonny: (deep breath) I’m gonna talk to them, they just need comfort and to see that maybe a haircut isn’t a bad thing.
Nonny then went out and saw the Maniac Style Sisters. The sisters looked at him, and his haircut.
Miss Long Hair: (sarcastic and upset) Well if it isn’t the little guppy! And he got his haircut.
Miss Tower: (arms crossed and mad) What do you want? Go away!
Nonny: (hesitant but speaks up) Listen, I heard your conversation,and I completely understand. I used to be scared of haircuts,and I still am. But then, I learned that they aren’t bad. They make us feel a bit better.
Miss Tower looked at her hair and then at her sister.
Miss Tower: (let’s her bun loose) Maybe he’s right. Let’s just give it a chance. I’ll do it. In fact, I have some in my bag.
Miss Long Hair: (deep breath in and out) You may have a point. And listen kid…
we’re sorry for what we did. We made people feel how we felt with our hair. And now we see that’s not right.
Gil, Kayden and Erica then steeped out to see Miss Tower held up her scissors, but Erica stepped in and offered to help.
Erica: Here, (picking up scissors) let me do it.
