You miss us? Aww. :')
Oh boy, a chat party? Or rather two chat parties? Well isn't this good news. I hope to make it to at least one. :)
Ooh, Daytime Emmy Awards you say? Well this is cool. Even though I've lost interest in the show, I still feel happy that they've been nominated for something as cool as "Best Writing" and "Best Casting".
@Deema: As for whether or not to have a chat party, I think that you should. I'd want to know what the old gang is up to. With you hosting it, I'm sure there will be a good turnout. I hope to make it. If you decide not to, that's fine too. :)
To be fair, the first season of The Loud House just ended, so there's probably not gonna be any merchandise just yet.
Then again, according to their Facebook, kids size T-shirts just became available at Target.
But for other merch, it's possible that I'll have to wait for the middle of the second season. Not that I mind of course.
Wow this store looks really cool. I'm so jealous that the US doesn't have anything like this. (Or...Well maybe in New York?)
To be honest, I'm really getting out of the Bubble Guppies phase. Now I'm into The Loud House which is another Nickelodeon show. After seeing the incredible amount of Bubble Guppies merchandise in this London store, it kinda makes me wonder if there will be Loud House merchandise here.
If there is...then I'm going to London! Lol. But if not...Then I guess I'll have to go without Loud House merchandise.
October 21st, is it? Better mark my calendar.
Also, I guess that since it's almost the end, I'd better confess. The last BG episode I watched was "Summer Camp Games". The reason is because I've kind of lost interest in Bubble Guppies at this point. The reason I bring this up is because not only will "Trick or Treat Mr. Grumpfish" be the end of the show, but it will probably also be the end of my interest and possibly the end of my time in the fandom.
Now this isn't a total goodbye. I might write fanfiction occasionally and draw them occasionally, but I won't watch the show that much or even really be on this wiki that much.
So, for those of you who are curious, a show called The Loud House has piqued my interest and has moved me away from BG.
I'm still here. Sorry I haven't been active on here. My mind's been too occupied with The Loud House recently. You know, maybe I will join the chat party on Saturday. Hope to see as much of you guys there as possible.
@Maccy1949: I rewatched that episode and I had to rewind that part a few times to make sure that was real. And I gotta say, IT'S ABOUT TIME.
@Emoinuyasha9: And you're sort of right, Emo. It might not have been a full hug like Molly and Gil have had, but it's still something.
Unfortunately, as much as I love Bubble Baby, I have a complaint. It does not ruin the episode, but it is something that needs to be addressed. I don't really like the way Nonny was so deadpan, dull, and emotionless in this episode. Look, I get that it's part of his character, and like I said before it does not make me like him any less. However, I still think he should've smiled in this episode. When the other guppies waved and said goodbye to Molly when she went to the hospital, the way Nonny waved looked really careless to me. I think he should've at least said goodbye. There's also the bigger issue I have with Nonny in this episode. He did not have one hint of an emotional reaction to seeing baby Mia. When everyone said "a baby girl", he said it with his blank expression. And when Molly was holding her, the camera showed Deema and Oona looking at Mia with big smiles. How did Nonny look at her? Blank expression! I'm sorry, but that's not Nonny's best portrayal.
Final verdict: This was an adorable episode and a wonderful way to end this series. Sure, it's not a standard episode, but I don't think it was meant to be. Yes, I've complained about Nonny, but that's just a nitpick and he's still and always will be my favorite. There's much more good in it than bad. Would I watch it again? Absolutely. So check this episode out if you haven't already. You won't regret it.
Ok, I'm going to review Bubble Baby since I rewatched it recently.
-The opening segment with Gil acting like a baby was simply adorable and it really set the tone for this episode. Of course him saying "goo goo gaga" and "baba" was a nice touch.
-Gil's reaction to the news of Molly being a big sister was really funny.
-The new pop song was pretty good. Again, I'm more impressed with the visuals than the song itself. Then again, who can resist baby guppies?!
-I think it's interesting this episode took the same approach as "Good Morning Mr. Grumpfish" by having pop songs from previous episodes. They all surprisingly fit very well.
- "Baby oysters are called spats". That was one of the comedic highlights of this episode. The fact that it was so random and everybody's reaction made it so funny. It definitely got a laugh out of me.
-Being a fangirl of Oona X Nonny, I loved the moment where Oona cuddled Nonny. I love it so much that I downloaded it and it's currently the screensaver on my phone.
-I have to admit that I'm still a little disappointed that we don't see Molly's parents in this. However, despite that, there's still potential for fanfiction and fanart.
-Baby Mia is the cutest thing! The baby sound effects they had for were really well done, both laughing and crying. She's very lucky to have a new big sister like Molls.
-The icing on the cake was the end when they showed the guppies as babies. They all looked adorable, but the ones who really stood out were Nonny and Goby. In terms of which of those two was the cutest, I'd say Goby. It's kind of ironic I say that because Goby's actually my least favorite of the guppies, but man does he make a cute baby.
I haven't seen Sheep Doggy since it's first air date. Luckily I was able to come it today, so I'll review it here.
-I like the design of Scout. She's very cute. The design of Woolie and the rest of the sheep were nice too. I don't think we've seen sheep on this show before.
-The visuals of the pop song are similar to "Have A Cow" with a little bit of "Fruit Camp" mixed in. I do like the clever little American Gothic reference that Deema and Gil did. As for the song itself, I like it. It's very upbeat and has a lot of energy to it.
-The shop segment was pretty standard so I don't really have much to say about this. However, when Oona collected the rest of her eggs, I think Deema might've called her "chicky-poo" or something like that.
-The lunch joke was pretty bad. It's just like those early season 2 macaroni and cheese lunch jokes that were not funny.
-The classroom segment wasn't that bad. It did contain Mr. Grouper as a cow just like Have A Cow, but it did take a more creative approach by having Gil dressing and acting like a sheep and having Bubble Puppy "herd" him.
-The storybook segment is pretty standard. The only thing that really stood out about it was the "Old MacNonny" costume and the fact that Deema narrated it. The "Old MacNonny had a farm" running gag was also enjoyable.
-The dance song was also very upbeat. The lyrics aren't incredibly catchy, but they're still nice to listen to.
-The ending was by far the best part of this episode. It was a nice day and then a storm came in like a millisecond. When the wind blew off Nonny's hat and Goby caught it and put it back on his head was a nice little touch. The popcorn literally raining down was a pretty nice visual. Both Bubble Puppy and Scout were really brave and it was very smart of BP to use a trail to help Scout bring Woolie back.
If I gotta be honest, this episode felt like a rehash. What I mean is it felt a little too similar to "Have A Cow". I mentioned the pop song, but everything else was straight out of Have A Cow, even the "thinking about it" segment. The only part that didn't feel like a rehash was the ending. So despite the fact that this episode is essentially a sequel to Have A Cow, I still kind of like it. The songs and the climax were worth the watch.
I don't really know what to think of this new show, but I will say this: please, please, please, please don't bomb! That's all I ask. Butterbean's Cafe doesn't have to be hugely successful like Bubble Guppies, but I don't want it to be a failure either. Fingers crossed.
Tracylbf wrote: I loved both episodes, but what I was really dissapointed in that Molly's parents weren't shown in the form of flesh. Just words and cellphones. But otherwise I loved bubble baby! And sheep doggy! Was great too.
Oh boy, that's a real shame. One of the things I was anticipating in Bubble Baby was seeing her parents in a physical appearance. Oh well, maybe sometime in the future. Though, on the other hand, people can just draw fanart of their parents.

Holy shi-AHHHHHHHHHHH! XD <3 <3 <3
Sorry about that. Just a fangirl attack. Anyway, that's flippin' AMAZING. One of my dreams has come true. Now all we need is Nonny to say Oona's name and boom, my ultimate fangirl dream will come true.
Bigteddy wrote: No it will be Trick Or Treat, Mr. Grumpfish and it will air in October.
If that's true, then I hope this episode allows this series to end on a high note. Fingers crossed.

First off, so glad they didn't talk about HOW babies are made.
Secondly, the songs from past episodes fit well. I enjoyed them.
Thirdly, THE SHIPPING, OH, THE SHIPPING! Gil at the beginning was hilarious and basically just let loose that he likes Molly. He accidentally said his name instead of girl, and wondered if the baby would have pink hair like Molly or blue hair like himself. Then there was one moment where I nearly squeed, but I keep control: Oona basically snuggled Nonny. I kid you not. And Nonny's reaction on his face is: What... Are you doing...? I actually had to rewind to see if that actually happened. Hope has been given to the Nonny x Oona shippers. Which is nice. Oh yeah, during the song, Oona did patty-cake with a baby Nonny. Which was adorable.
Fourthly (GOD this is takin forever), THE ENTIRE ENDING. I just loved it, and although Molly's parents weren't shown, they were indeed mentioned. In fact, when the other guppies got to the hospital, Molly's mom had, like, JUST come out of pregnancy. The baby was adorable, as shown by the pics. And the last few seconds? Baby pictures of the guppies. HO. LY. (BEEEEP). They were so cute the word cute cannot describe them anymore. But the real crowner is Nonny, with these glasses that are a little too big for him, and an awkward expression on his face. He was always like himself, it turns out. Oh, and somewhere along the line, Deema got her signature three things of hair.
Finally, I loved this episode a lot, glad I got to watch it. Can't wait to see what comes next.
This is not a finale, more episodes are coming! :)
I don't how many, but I'm wishing many, many more! ;)
Bubble Baby was the last episode in production it was Episode #414. But there are still more episodes coming.
Guppy Style Episode #404-405
The Summer Camp Games Episode #413
Trick Or Treat, Mr. Grumpfish Episode #412
Wait a minute...so does that mean The Summer Camp Games will be the finale?

Ooh, this sounds cool. I wonder if this means we'll get another guest star. Hey, any word on the airdate?
April 29th a.k.a Grace Kaufman's birthday!
Damn, I'll have to miss this one too. But, wow, it airs on Grace Kaufman's birthday, so that's something.

Bigteddy wrote: Okay I'm not going to spoil anything. I'm just going to say that Bubble Baby felt like a satisfying series finale. Oh and the only spoiler I can give you is that Molly's baby sister's name is Mia.
Mia! Aww, that's a great name. Simple but pretty, just like I hoped her name would be. Can't wait to see it. :)
