Bubble Guppies: Super Princess Mermaids (Also known as Bubble Guppies Mermaids) is a 3D-animated children's television series produced for Nickelodeon. The series revolves around the underwater adventures of a group of princess mermaids: Molly, Deema, and Zooli. The program premiered with two short episodes on the Nick Jr. YouTube channel on February 7, 2025.[1] The series is produced using 3D software.
Plot

Join Molly, Deema, and Zooli as they transform into royal heroes with magical powers, ready to save the ocean one rescue at a time! From helping sea creatures in trouble to battling underwater villains, these Super Mermaids are always on a mission! Get ready for epic rescues, dazzling transformations, and brand-new songs!
Format
The format is consists of short, 3 minute episodes compiled into a 6 minute video featuring two episodes each. The episodes are composed entirely from remixed pop songs from previous productions of the main show, dubbed with new lyrics and new voice actors. All episodes involve a plot, in which the mermaids progressively work towards solving a problem, and typically, they finish or figure out the solution at the end of the song. The visuals feature the three mermaids performing actions related to the song and its lyrics.
Characters
There are many characters in Bubble Guppies: Super Princess Mermaids. Some new characters are introduced in an episode but never seen again. The three main characters are the only characters to appear in every episode.
Main Characters
Molly - Molly is the girl that everyone wants as a friend. She is smart, dependable, very friendly, and a genuine leader. She has pink hair and a light blue outfit. When she transforms into a superhero, she features striped pink and blue hair. Her symbol is a gold star. She has a magic wand that she can wave around to summon things or cause things to happen. It is a pink shell on a blue stick.
Deema - Deema's personality is as big as her hair! She’s energetic, goofy, bubbly, a drama queen and loves to be the center of attention. She wears a yellow/orange outfit with yellow hair. When she transforms into a superhero, she wears goggles/a visor in the new series. Her symbol is a pink shell, similar to the one Zooli had in Seasons 5-6 of the main show. She has a clamshell-looking device that contains a sketch of some sort. She has the ability to code. She is also the strongest of the three, being the strongest mermaid in the sea.
Zooli - Zooli is a spunky animal expert, introduced in the Bubble Guppies Season 5 premiere. Her symbol is a purple clamshell, and she has purple hair. When she transforms into a superhero, her hair becomes striped with pink and purple. She has a clamshell-looking device with the symbol of a speaker and a seahorse.
Dolphin - Dolphin is one of their best friends. The mermaids often play with her, however, she often gets herself into trouble, and needs rescuing by the Super Princess Mermaids.
Crabby Crab - Crabby Crab is the antagonist of this series. She tries to ruin the fun of the Super Mermaids in any way, through the use of annoying them to cheating to get her way, though the Super Mermaids always win, and show her the right way to do things and have fun.

- Island of Misfits also made the 2024 series of Caillou along with WildBrain (the company that also produced Bubble Guppies' first season; IoM was also founded by former WildBrain CEO, Dana Landry, by the time it was known as DHX Media). Similar to Bubble Guppies, the characters in the aforementioned series also feature embedded faces.
- The guppies now have the ability to wield and use magic tools, particularly Molly with her magic wand.
- The Guppies have two outfits:
- Their normal outfit is used when they do not have any rescues they need to perform.
- Their rescue outfit is used when they are rescuing something.
- They live in an underwater castle-type of structure.
- Deema and Zooli's clamshell devices can take photographs of things.
- In episode 3 of the series (Super Mermaids Song), it is learned that Deema can code.
