The Mastodons are the antagonists in the storybook segment "Cavemen Actors" of the episode "Who's Gonna Play The Big Bad Wolf? whom Nonny discribes as "hairy, stinky elephants," the Mastodons are generally harmless creatures who enjoy hanging out. However, they will stop at nothing to stomp any cavemen who cross their path.

To get past them, Gil and Goby acted like them and the Mastodons even decided to watch the cavemen act like them.

They speak in a slight Mafia accent.
Real Mastodons have brown hair.
