- She was thought to be a vegetarian, but it was proven false in the episode "The Legend Of Pinkfoot". During Lunch she was having a turkey sandwich and in "The Lonely Rhino!", she had a cheeseburger. More recently she had chicken and rice in "Snow Squad to the Rescue!".
- Like Nonny, Oona didn't sing a single dance song and only sings backup in most episodes, making her the girl who has sung the least number of songs in the series. However, she had a line in A Bunch of Bones (Reprise) and shared a duet with Deema in "The Puppy And The Ring", titled Flutter Guppies Realm Song.
- Oona's favorite color is pink. Although, in "The Crayon Prix!", she had to drive a canary-yellow car.
- Oona is one of the two female guppies to wear a full tail, instead of a half tail and bikini top. The other is Zooli. Coincidentally, both Zooli and Oona have purple hair, brown eyes, and have an Oo sound in their name.
- Her best friend is Nonny, whom she is often seen with, when not with Deema. Deema is also one of Oona's very close friends. Deema often uses affectionate pet names for her on occasion also.
- Oona would open two stores in Who's Gonna Play The Big Bad Wolf? and Party at Sea!.
- Despite being in almost every Lunch segment, Oona rarely does 4 lunch jokes main punchline. The instances in which she did this were in:
- "Super Shrimptennial Celebration" (Horn On The Cob)
- "Rockin' Out!" (Ice Cream Stone).
- "Bigfoot Crossing!" (Horn Bread).
- "The Kingdom of Laughs-a-Lot!"(Laugharoni and Cheese)
- She is the Guppy with the fewest lunch jokes.
- In "We Totally Rock!", it is revealed that Oona's favorite food is cream cheese and jelly sandwiches.
- Oona is the guppy to ask the most questions in almost every episode and Nonny usually answers her question.
- She don’t have her singing voice.
- In the episode "Have a Cow!" it is revealed that Oona loves baby animals. It is also revealed in "Bubble Puppy!", "Check It Out!", and "The Oyster Bunny!"
- In the pop songs where the guppies are all playing instruments, Oona usually plays the drums. Also, in "We Totally Rock!" Oona plays drums in both the story segment and in the concert.
- In "A Tooth on the Looth!", she plays the electric guitar in the pop song while Gil plays the drums. In other songs, this is the other way around.
- In Sleep, she plays the acoustic guitar while Molly sings.
- Oona has only been the main character in five episodes. ("Call a Clambulance!", "The Grumpfish Special!", "The Spring Chicken is Coming!", "Get Ready For School!", and "Swimtastic Check-Up!"), which makes her the guppy with the least number of times being the main character.
- In Guppy Style! (Part 1), Oona reveals that she likes to wear baseball caps.
- In Construct With Me, in the third verse you can clearly hear Oona singing.
- Oona can be seen wearing a police officer costume in eight episodes. ("Super Shrimptennial Celebration!", "Can You Dig It?", "Happy Holidays, Mr. Grumpfish!", "The Police Cop-etition!", "The Amusement Parking Lot!", Super Guppies!, "Costume Boxing!", and "Super Baby!".
- Oona narrated 12 story segments in the episodes Bubble Puppy!, Ducks in a Row!, Have a Cow!, Haunted House Party!, Bring on the Bugs!, Fruit Camp!, Ninja Season!, Bigfoot Crossing!, Bubble Medics to the Rescue!, Don't Yuck My Yum!, The Solar Light Spectacular!, and The Kingdom of Laughs-a-Lot!, except Season 4.
- Oona's lunchbox is purple with a big pink star in the middle.
- In Season 3, she plays on the drums more often than before.
- For some reason, her name is "Luna" in the European French Dub .
- On November 10, 2011, the official Bubble Guppies Facebook profile asked the parents to answer, "Which guppy is your kid most like?", and Oona is in third place with 63 votes.
- On January 24, 2012, Bubble Guppies' Facebook page asked the fans to answer, "Which Bubble Guppies character would you name your kid after?", and Oona is in fifth place with 18 votes.
- Oona is most likely East Asian due to her facial features. Despite this, she did not have a voice actor with an Asian background up until Season 6, where she is voiced by Mia Lynn Bangunan who is of Filipina heritage.
- Oona might be of Japanese descent since in Ninja Season! she is the one to narrate the story set in Japan.
- Oona and Goby are the only Bubble Guppies who do not appear in Nick Jr Live!: Move to the Music.
- Oona's favorite ocean animal is a jellyfish, as revealed in The New Guppy.
- Oona played the antagonist in Ocean Patrol. But when Bubble Puppy was free of the snow, she decided not to team up with Windy Pete and stand against him.
- Even though her favorite instrument is the flute, she played the clarinet more than she played the flute. It may mean her favorite instrument is the clarinet and her second is the flute.
- She's the only one of the guppies to have more than one ending quote. In this case, she has two in Season 6.
