Party at Sea! is the 16th episode of Season 3.

Summary

After Molly and Gil meet a captain of a tugboat, they get the rest of the class thinking about all kinds of boats.

Plot

The episode starts out with Molly greeting herself to the audience once again. Soon Gil imitates a boat's horn while swimming in a cardboard ship. Molly tries to start off the show, but Gil keeping doing it. Then, he parks near her. The pink-haired guppy asks the audience what Gil is riding in, and she responds to her own question by saying that he is riding in a boat. Gil continues making honking noises until Bubble Puppy ap-proaches him and honks his cardboard boat very loudly. Molly starts laughing and announces that it's time for Bubble Guppies.

Molly and Gil are swimming to school today. Soon they approach a huge lake where a ship is honking its horn. The boat comes close to the guppies and introduces himself as Captain with the boat named Bubble Tug. He explains that his boat is called a Tugboat and that he and his assistant helps huge boats travel safely to the harbor. They hear another honk and tell them someone else needs their assistance. Captain salutes them and makes his way back into the water. Now, the guppies are swimming to school.

Molly and Gil come into the class impersonating a boats horn while saying 'Ahoy'. Deema greets them back without knowing what it means. Nonny explains that's how they say 'Hello'. Molly explains that they met the captain of the tugboat, and Gil explained how he greeted them with Ahoy. Mr. Grouper explains that a Cap-tain is the person who drives the boat. The Bubble Guppies love boats. The teacher explains that various types of boats and the equipment used such as an anchor. Afterwards, the guppies sing the pop song: Party at Sea.

Goby wants to become a captain so he asks help from Oona and the viewers. He needs to help the skipper cross the river to the Crab Shack on the other side.
