Plot
The Guppies are excited for China's Lunar New Year Festival, where they will operate a giant festival dragon the grand parade.
Summary
Molly starts the show when she suddenly hears Gil eating something. She swims to Gil and sees that he is pretending to be a panda, so Gil is eating bamboo. Suddenly, a bamboo leaf flies him into his bamboo forest, and Gil says happily: "It's time for Bubble Guppies!"
Molly, Gil and Bubble Puppy are on their way to school until there are acrobats practicing for a parade. The acrobats tell them "Gong Xi Fa Cai," which actually means "Happy New Year" as a New Year's tradition, and really means "congratulations on making money." It's a Chinese New Year parade, causing Molly to once again, several episodes after The Cowgirl Parade! episode to love parades. The parade will have decorative lanterns and fireworks, and there will be the dragon. Bubble Puppy thinks it's a scary one, but the acrobats say it is a puppet one.
