Deema opens up a music shop. Her customer, Nonny, wants to get his electric guitar fixed. Deema greets Nonny who explains the problem and she asks to see the guitar and begins to overlook it. She checks a few things while making some cartoony sound effects, then manages to fix it! Until Nonny tells her its not the right sound and it sounds like drums, so she tries again and manages to get it wrong again, this time making it sound like a keyboard! Trying a final time, Deema gets it right.

Molly asks Gil what he is listening to and he shows her the shell. She asks to see it, and mentions how she hears rock music so Gil tries once more. He insists its the ocean, then Molly claims its Rock music again and when Gil overlooks it a third time then a hermit crab pops out and pinches him!
The Terrible Music
In class, the Guppies were trying to play rock and roll. Mr. Grouper tries to silence them but they don't listen so clam has to get their attention. Mr Grouper asks about their noise and informs them that it doesn't sound right, or good unless they try to play the same song together. Deema then suggests they play a concert and Molly asks how one would do this. Inspiring Mr. Grouper to ask what one would need for a concert, like instruments, a stage, and rock and roll clothing. Then Deema sings We're Gonna Rock It
Outside
The guppies go outside to play and Goby tells a story of the 3 Lasses who wished to attend a rock concert.
Once upon a time, there was a Wee Lass (which means little girl in Scotland). She was on her way to the Rock and Roll Festival, but first, she had to cross a bridge in Loch Ness (the home of the fictional Loch Ness Monster). However, when she attempted to cross the bridge, a terrifying noise echoed from deep within the loch. Suddenly, an enormous lobster rose from the water. He announced himself as the Rock Ness Lobster, and told her that she must "totally rock" to cross his bridge to reach the Rock and Roll Festival. But when she tried to play some music on her guitar, she was terrified when the Lobster threatened to eat her since she didn't really totally rock! So she ran away as fast as she could.
She then met another Wee Lass who had a drum set and was also on her way to the Rock 'n' Roll Festival, but the first Wee Lass told her that she shouldn't go that way because the Rock Ness Lobster might try to eat her and explained that he says only those who totally rock can cross his bridge. So the second Wee Lass decided to help, and they went back to try again. Back at the bridge, the first Wee Lass attempted to play some drum music. It was difficult at first, but when they realized the Lobster was still trying to eat them, they fled like frightened mice. They ran as fast as they could.
Then, a third Wee Lass appeared and offered to help them. Back at the bridge, the third Wee Lass tried playing keyboard music. It was challenging initially, but quickly became easier. And guess what the Lobster said? "I think you look delicious." Running as fast as The Flash, the Wee Lasses escaped again.
Suddenly, the first Wee Lass stopped for a minute and realized what they had been doing wrong which was why they couldn't cross the bridge to the Rock and Roll Festival. She then remembered a few things:
- She loved to rock because she played the guitar.
- The second Wee Lass loved to rock because she played the drums.
- The third Wee Lass loved to rock because she played the keyboard.
The first Wee Lass thought that if they play together, they could form a band and really rock! So, they returned to the bridge to try again and played together. The Rock Ness Lobster enjoyed their music and played along with them, and after the song, he allowed the three Wee Lasses to cross his bridge. The Wee Lasses then invited the Rock Ness Lobster to join them at the Rock and Roll Festival and they all rocked happily ever after.
Guitarlose's Gig
Guitarlose's Gig
Molly sees Gil setting up a mini stage and he tries to get "Guitarlose" to play the guitar. Molly asks if maybe he isn't in there and she leaves. But Gil says he is, and they just did a sound check but she doesn't believe him. Just then Guitarlose pops out and pinches him again!
Field Trip
The guppies head to the concert to practice backstage. Just as Mr. Grouper informs them they have five minutes left, Gil suddenly notices his cymbal is missing! All the guppies panic, and Mr. Grouper, seeing they haven't come out on stage, goes to check on them. When they explain what happened, they ask the audience to help them search the backstage area. After a little searching, they find the missing cymbal inside a box. Bubble Puppy suddenly pops out from underneath it, and the guppies hurry onto the stage to play their song, "We Totally Rock!" Molly and the rest of the guppies sing as the crowd goes wild.
After the concert, Molly tells Gil he was right about how cool rock and roll is and how much it "rocks." Gil then makes a joke, pulling two random rocks from his pocket, to which Molly says, "Not that kind of rocks!" They both laugh as they notice Bubble Puppy dragging Gil's cymbal away again. "Bubble Puppy!" Gil exclaims as the episode ends.
